On Friday, April 7, 2017, Governor Jerry Brown issued an executive order that lifts the drought state of emergency in all but four counties in California while continuing prohibitions on wasteful water use such as watering during or right after rainfall.
The community of Apple Valley has done a remarkable job reducing water use to comply with state regulations and protect California’s water supplies. Although the wet winter has helped to replenish many of the state’s reservoirs, the future is unpredictable and we must continue making water conservation a way of life.
Liberty Utilities Apple Valley customers are encouraged to continue conservation efforts to reduce both indoor and outdoor water usage.
